Experienced hands-on Agile Coach
Unit: BTO (Business Technology Organization)
BTO will drive security of supply, energy transition, organizational and financial health through digital, data and analytics. BTO will secure solid foundations through seamless end-user services (UX), industry-leading cybersecurity setup and resilient data centers and cloud infrastructure. BTO will have consistent business/BTO alignment, strategic partnerships with vendors and clear standards on architecture, vendor & portfolio management and security. BTO will unlock value of data and digital by building all the necessary enablers (incl. data platform, data governance processes, capabilities) and embedding innovation initiatives into business roadmaps.
BTO Office
BTO Office is a dynamic and collaborative hub within TenneT’s Business Technology Organization (BTO). Our diverse department is composed of these teams:
- Strategy & Transformation; providing vision, direction, and insight to shape the future of TenneT’s technology landscape and ensuring efficient project execution, resource allocation, and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Enterprise Architecture; establishing a solid foundation for the organization’s systems and processes, promoting scalability, interoperability, and alignment with business objectives.
- Quality & Performance Management; focusing on continuous improvement, promoting best practices, and monitoring the effectiveness of our operations.
- Security Risk & Compliance; safeguarding TenneT’s information assets, mitigates risks, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations.
Role
– Guide our teams in adopting Agile values and principles;
– Act as a Scrum Master for our teams using the Scrum framework and Jira;
– Be a change leader in solving challenges and obstacles in our way of working resulting in high-performing teams. Measure and drive improvements in our maturity, performance and productivity;
– Foster a community of autonomous Change Agents by launching and sustaining Guilds and Center of Excellence teams.
Good to know
– Candidate is going to work in the Strategy & Transformation team within BTO. The team consists of 6 program managers and 4 strategy advisors (focus on innovation with transformation component). Results-oriented and friendly team;
– TenneT is moving to Prince work and Jira, focus is on trying to plan everything Agile: execution of strategy + transformation in the programs. That is also the reason for this external hire position: to guide the teams and improve the quality. Purpose is to get the change for the BTO Office through. Candidate needs to know how to set up Jira and arrange planning events for the office. TenneT is looking for a hands-on candidate, whereby part of the job is also operational;
– We expect a large number of candidates to be offered. That’s why we will have the focus on candidates with experience within companies with 5000 – 10,000 employees and with an IT department >500 employees;
– Candidate needs to have demonstrable experience in guiding teams in Agile working (from scratch, really start from the beginning (there are teams who don’t know what it is like to work in scrum teams). The candidate must have performed this several times, not only once.
Eisen
- Minimaal 8 jaar ervaring in diverse Agile rollen, waarvan minimaal 4 jaar als Scrum Master.
- Aantoonbare ervaring met het implementeren van de Agile werkwijze en mindset in meerdere grote organisaties en het begeleiden van meerdere teams naar hoge prestatieniveaus.
- Vermogen om Agile en Lean praktijken aan te passen aan unieke organisatorische contexten op een praktische manier.
- Diepgaande kennis van een reeks methodologieën en frameworks, zoals Scrum en Kanban.
- Bekwaam in het aannemen van verschillende rollen, zoals coachen, faciliteren, mentoren en lesgeven met bewezen expertise in ten minste één van deze domeinen: technisch, zakelijk of transformatie.
- Ervaring met tools zoals Jira en Mural.
- Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk in het Nederlands en Engels.
- Kandidaat moet beschikbaar zijn voor minimaal 32 uur per week.
- Bij aanvang voert TenneT een Pre-Employment Screening uit.
- Standplaats voor deze functie is Arnhem (1 of 2 dagen per week), andere dagen hybride. Indien nodig moet een kandidaat flexibel zijn om fulltime op het kantoor in Arnhem te werken.
- Kandidaten moeten in het bezit zijn van een geldig paspoort of ID-kaart, welke meegenomen moet worden naar het interview en bij de start van de opdracht.
