Tasks
As a Functional Application Manager Transmission Management Systems, you will be responsible for strengthening and renewing the electricity grid so that the Netherlands can continue to rely on reliable and sustainable energy.
You will be working in the DEV/OPS TMS team, which consists of 20 colleagues. Together, you will work on renewing the current Energy Management System (EMS) by implementing a Transmission Management System (TMS). The TMS consists of various applications and modules, such as systems for grid monitoring (SCADA) and network simulations (Network Applications). These simulations help us, for example, with load calculations (load flow) and analysing the electricity grid, which is essential for a stable and sustainable energy supply. Together with your team, you will ensure that all changes to the system are implemented correctly. This includes adjustments to the grid visualisations and updates to the user interface. You will also work closely with colleagues to thoroughly test the new system as part of an ongoing project. After the go-live, we will switch to the DEV/OPS way of working to monitor and configure the system operationally and develop it further.
You will mainly focus on:
- Performing acceptance tests to confirm that the new Transmission Management System (TMS) meets the requirements
- Providing training and knowledge transfer to TMS users
- Managing and optimising the TMS
- Improving models and processes within the TMS to increase efficiency
- Implementing changes and configurations to the system
- Testing changes to the systems to ensure that everything is functioning properly
- Supporting the Management of Change (MoC) teams in implementing system updates and changes

Screening

Eisen
- Kennis van en affiniteit met hoogspanningsnetten en automatisering binnen een technische omgeving.
- Minimaal vijf jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie, bij voorkeur in de energiesector of een technische omgeving.
- Afgeronde hbo-opleiding (BSc) in Elektrotechniek, bij voorkeur met een specialisatie in Energietechniek.
- Uitstekende beheersing van de Engelse en Nederlandse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
- Voor deze functie is een AIVD-screening vereist.
- Pre-employment screening: de kandidaat mag pas starten na afronding van de pre-employment screening, inclusief het ontvangen van een VOG.
- De kandidaat beschikt over een geldig identiteitsbewijs (paspoort of identiteitskaart) bij intake en op de startdatum van het contract, en kan dit ter verificatie overleggen.
- De kandidaat is beschikbaar voor de gehele gevraagde periode.
- Voor deze functie is remote werken niet mogelijk; de werklocatie is Arnhem, Utrechtseweg.
Wensen
- Je bent een echte teamspeler, je deelt je kennis en weet deze effectief over te dragen.
- Sterke communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden.
- Kennis en ervaring in de energiesector, met name op het gebied van energietransport en/of energienetwerkmodellering, is een pré.
- Bij voorkeur heb je werkervaring in het beheren van grote bedrijfskritische applicaties.
